Birthday Wish 17/11/2009

Early in the year of 1988, my whole family (Father, Mother, Sister and Brother) had just came back from Glasgow, Scotland where my father did his Masters, when....jeng jeng....anyways finally, on the eleventh month, 17th day, 6th hour and 41st minute, a little blue baby was born..whom Karen and Joel named-->Alice, and their parents named-->Chye Hung (Rainbow) ..haha thats the little mini me! ~(^.^)~ Oh those good old days which I frankly have no memory of it at all.. but I was happy.. :)

Today, I have 2 words--> Happy Birthday!! Hahaha... 21 years has gone so fast..

As of 12am this morning, I've had my Birthday Fruit Juice and Birthday Garlic Naan which awkwardly arrived at the table at almost 12am.. haha..

Today of all the rest of the rainy days, God gave me a hot sunny sunshine... and a free ride to UTAR.. provided by Shee Wuen's brother~~nice

And I thought at the end of the day, I'd rest up like normal days.. Phoebe called me to come out.. I had not expected this at all.. but lo and behold.. W23 members were outside my door, Aaron holding a birthday cake.. They all sang that beautiful song. I don't know how my expression was.. scared that I look funny on the recording.. :P.. Hope they don't post it on youtube or FB.. very paiseh..

Then we went for a simple makan time at station 1.. eat eat, chat chat, laugh laugh..then balik.. I played a small prank (Those who know please laugh with me.. Muahahaha!)

That's The Life

The beginning of the month, October 3rd seems like a nice day to write a blog after an eventful few days of "post-examination" fun mode..

An eventful few days for me.. right after the final final paper on Tuesday it was off to "Shabu One" at Lot 10..buffet steamboat at student price.. RM19.90.. wowow.. Fung Lin, Yin Ling, Yin Long, Tong, Roland and I--->we were spoiled for choices of the food. My number one choice; SEAFOOD... clam, oyster, siput, lala, cockel, abalone, scallop.. gosh.. haven.. but when it was all cooked, the funny thing was, the siput--- can't be eaten?! they didn't cut off the top of the shell so I couldn't suck it out.. sheesh.. sakit hati.. yet the one thing I kept taking was the Mochi. At one corner a plate of cubes that look like the glue that works when heated.. but when I tasted the cooked mochi (peanuts and chocolate powder is best- the green tea one was bitter).. I coudn't get enough of it.. it was crunchy from the heat but gooey on the inside, coupled with peanut and chocolate powder.. wah.. and the Ice-cream.. common but chocolate was the best. We ended the dinner with a toast.. cheers!

Then the next day I had to meet Dr Kim for FYP discussion which, put me on the course to start off.. I'm still in the blurr though.. but but but.. the shopping spree after that... hahahahhaha..

Let me summarise--->>> 2 bags, 1 top, 1 vest, 1 scarf, 1 pair of jeans.. total spent~ Roughly RM260. Budget- underachieved.. hmm.. when's the next shopping spree? I seriously need heels, sandals and shoes. Thought to get a make up kit..thinking if I'd use it that often.. haha

THURSDAY- Genting Highlands!! hahaha!!.. My first time on the Roller Coaster and I went 3 times!..The ultimate ride (which I don't want to go for even if there is a blue blue moon) is the space shot.. that drops you from a height straight down till the brakes get kickin.. my heart didn't have time to beat.. I was too scared to even scream or open my eyes.. *shudder*.. The most boring one by my rating would be *Drum Roll*...The pirate ship ride.. I went in, I came out.. in between were black nothingness.. ????...2nd runner up.. the go-cart.. maximum speed 10km/hr.. for one who is used to >120km/hr... thats real slow.. :P.. The most fun by my rating was the bumper boat.. haha.. wonder why I ended up getting wet pants.. Visited the casino too.. smelly.. but the day was wrapped up at Kenny Rogers where we ate, talked, joked and counted chocolates that were bought.. well, me only la...haha..

Yesterday was..a quaint celebration of mooncake festival.. sweet delicacies of the chinese traditional lotus paste with the more modern-made herbal skin.. well, anything with lotus paste in it taste the same to me.. haha.. But the more important ones weren't mooncakes but just the talking and chatting that made the celebration meaningful. :)

Lets rewind to Saturday morning.

After the Yum Cha session with Eng Hui, Francis, Tong and Phoebe- I got home my mind still quite fresh~~ so I was online most of the time till 4 plus. I woke up at 8.33am that Saturday morning thinking- Today, I shall wash my clothes and I looked out the window.. rain.. sweatless.. I went back to sleep. 10.30am I got up and just watched some vids on youtube and rearranged some of my notes.. the sky rained on the still ground, the day seemed gloomy and the sun seemed slow to respond- my day started slow.

The momentum started during when I was serving as an usher on section A of the hall..kan cheong a bot lehh.. it was a long time since I served in the hall and a section.. well... "sap sap water" hor? No probs lah.. except a teeny weeny one.. haha..

Preaching time was as usual. Personally, I like Keith's preaching- Its very practical. I know, all the things that we hear about- "The Road to Success".. "Overcoming Adversities".. steps, ways, methods and materials to get there..baggages that hold you back.. we've all heard it before, we know it (those who didn't, this is not for you)... its just stored input.. Sometimes we just need to be reminded of our purpose and be encouraged by hearing these..

I only realised that our cell group are musicians.. (yes.. I'm a bit slow..) haha..

Sosososo...Lets count who plays guitar ... Raymond, Francis, Diming, Phoebe, Pica,

Enghui... Those who don't.. Chun Hean(Assumption), Ah Wei, Florrie, Me.. That's like 60 percent!! Man.. talk about majority..Join the crowd, I'd say.. hahaha.

Let's see.. after exam I'll be busy with CLT, FYP, CG, E.R...hm.. I think I can slot one more in.. Guitar!!.. yess!!! muahahaha.. I want to at least have basic in strumming by the end of the year- and the major chords.. yupe yupe yupe.. muahahahha...

Man.. I gotta get some rest.. 1.56am and I got

to get ready for the wedding tomorrow..

Had a great time relaxing with W23 dearies.. Shopping, Steamboat, Cake.. Mashed Potato.. singing.. laughing.. joking.. S-squarednesses.. haha..

Ray got a new cap for his Bday.. it was a real funny display.. haha.. Jay Chou "look-alike" they said.. I just saw a funny guy waving his new cap

.. seriously.. cap+formals= hilarious.. well.. I've never..NEVER.. seen Ray wear a cap before.. Here he is..

Hmm.. needs more hair on the sides- eh? Well.. the resolution ain't that good on a phone cam.. If he put on a phunky set; jacket and jeans I'd be laughing my guts out.. I dunno why.. The sight would just tickle my funny bone.. hahaha..

Then.. at the very end, I finally decided to try it on..

Doesn't have the excitement there.. I wonder why? Is it the business of exams?

Just had mine this morning.. Micro Was like.. HUH? 1m..2m..1m..2m..3m..4m..1m.1m..1m..2m.. the questions were so many I lost count.. :P

Steamboat steamboat steamboat! Going to go shopping with Eng Hui later to get the food and gonna make...... oh dear.. mashed potato.. my first time making it.. pakai hentam la.. haha.

and cake!.. Absolutely lurve cake!.. yummy yummy....

Later have to get cake, fishball, ikan bilis..blablalabla.. then make mash potato.. do BS.. my stomach churning d.. Hungry, excited.. is it just me or am I laughing by myself..?

The last weekend was a blast.. literally..

All the anticipation for the production going on and me having to handle the attendance.. a bit on the siao side I must say...

That Friday was my microbio lab test which went.. okay, not great.. then was off to Jusco for.. shoppin!!.. I had planned to buy a blouse to match my skirt for the production and at the last minute, praise God!! I had found it, with help from Fung Lin. Grey top and black skirt.. niiice... :P

(I don't care wht 'some people say about the skirt being a curtain.. its called.. "style'.. haha..)

Then at 6+pm.. off to CHC in Adrian's proton.. I'd just like to say that it wasn't a pleasant ride- not because of my inexperience in driving auto and weird Malaysian car setting.. well, to cut the long story short- Words should be handled with care... and patience is silence but painful to bear.

Well.. back to the story.. there we were, me, Roland and Tong.. watching on projector.. haha! Funny from start to finish.. Girls meet boys.. emotion, drama, comedy.. I'm just waiting for the CD to come out so I can watch again and again and again... Even bought an extra.. just going to give it away to someone.. hmm...

I was pretty amazed that I was able to stand in heels for that 2 hours plus.. though I felt it later that night.. ouch! Anyways.. it was a great and awesome weekend.. new friends to boot too..
